BIOGRAPHY
Domenic Armano, Regional Project Development Manager at Johnson Controls has worked in the water and energy efficiency field for over 14-yrs with experience ranging from healthcare facilities, university and research facilities, power plants, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings and apartments complexes. In addition, Mr. Armano provides technical oversight for various renewable energy technology projects including photovoltaics, biomass, and solar thermal, among others. Mr. Armano has extensive water conservation experience in the healthcare, higher education and laboratory environments.
At Johnson Controls Mr. Armano leads the Northeast Regions project development efforts. Under his direction, this team is responsible for auditing, detailed engineering of water and energy conservation measures, renewable energy assessments and evaluation of project economic feasibility. Mr. Armano is skilled at providing technical/financial expertise to clients through effective communication and project planning as well as managing diverse project teams.
Mr. Armano is a licensed Professional Engineer and his professional affiliations include the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Mr. Armano holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, a M.S. in Engineering Management from Tufts University and is presently enrolled at Boston University in the MBA program. Additionally, Mr. Armano is currently teaching an energy auditing seminar at Boston University.
